Volvo has confirmed the XC50.
Like the
Volvo XC90 but looking for something a little more compact? Your wish may be granted with the
Volvo XC50,
expected to debut in mid-2006 as a 2007 model. Built on
Ford’s C1 platform (also home to the new Land Rover
Freelander), various derivations of the vehicle will feature five- and six-cylinder engines starting at 165 hp.
